Napoli’s Pasquale Mazzocchi has reveal Antonio Conte has left feeling “very upset” in the dressing room after Sunday’s 3-0 defeat to Verona in their Serie A opener.

    The away team lost star striker Kvicha Kvaratskhelia in the final minute of the first half due to injury at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, only to concede three goals in the second half through Dylon Livramento in the 50th minute and Daniel Mosquera in the 75th and 90+4th minutes.

    Mazzocchi, who started and played 90 minutes in the match, apologised to the fans for the poor performance and revealed that Conte was very angry about the result.

    “It was a terrible trip home,” Mazzocchi said. “The most important thing is to apologise to the fans. In the second half we played badly, but it’s the first game of the season and we can’t let ourselves worry too much.”

    “The coach was very upset, but then he analyze it very cleverly. He told us that everyone has to give more effort.”

    “There were some positive signs in the first half, UFABET but in the second half there were definitely some problems that we will have to analyze with the coach throughout the week.”

    For their next game, Napoli will return to home ground to face Bologna on August 25.
